An embosser can create a raised impression on paper. Ideal to use on books, envelopes, letterheads, and cards.

Heavier stock may produce a shallow impression or damage the paper. For the crispest result, use a single sheet of recommended-weight paper or stationery.

Choosing the Right Embossing Orientation: Top vs. Bottom

"Emboss from bottom" is the most common orientation.  It is suitable for leaving impressions on the flap of an envelope or from the bottom of a page near a signature.

"Emboss from top" is used to create impressions at the top of a page. This type of orientation is great for leaving impressions at the top of letterheads and stationery or putting a seal with your address at the top of any important document.

What is Plate Only?

Plate Only is the engraved insert plate only - it does not include the embosser handle.
Choose Plate Only if you already own a compatible embosser and need a replacement plate for a worn or damaged design, or an extra plate so you can swap designs without buying a second full embosser.

If this is your first embosser, order the full set (base + plate). Plate Only will not work on its own.
