Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping & Delivery

Do you offer expedited or rush shipping?

We do not offer expedited, express, or rush shipping. Every order ships using our standard service.

If you have a deadline, the best approach is to order early so there is enough time for production and delivery. You can review current estimates on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — orders over $100 qualify for free standard shipping. Smaller orders ship at a flat rate of $6.95.

You can review current rates and delivery estimates on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Do you ship internationally, and who pays customs duties?

We ship to many countries. Checkout shows the rate and the transit estimate for the address you enter.

When a parcel crosses a border, you pay any duties or import taxes that country charges. We cannot quote that amount.

Checkout will not accept an EU address right now. We are temporarily unable to ship to EU addresses.

An order placed on the Canada shop is made and shipped in Canada. That is a domestic parcel, so it does not cross a border and does not have cross-border duties.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders need 1–3 business days to produce. Delivery time after that depends on your region and the shipping carrier for your area.

Destinations farther from our production facilities, and any international customs processing, can add a little more time in transit.

For the production and delivery estimate to your area, see our Shipping & Delivery page.

Orders & Design

Can I change my design or add text after ordering?

If your order has not gone to production yet, we can usually update the design or add text. Reach out as soon as possible so we can catch it in time.

Once an order is in production we may not be able to change it. Before anything is produced, our team reviews every submitted design and emails you if there is a problem, so keep an eye on your inbox.

To request a change, contact us with your order number and what you would like adjusted.

Can I get a digital copy of my stamp design?

Yes. If you would like a high-resolution image file of a stamp design you made with us, you can purchase a digital copy of it.

The digital copy is the design file only, so it is a handy option if you want to use your design on cards, labels, or anything else. If you are not sure which design to choose, contact us with your order number and we will help you find it.

Do you have phone support?

We do not offer support by phone, and we do not publish a phone number. Contact us and tell us what you need. We will help in writing.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?

We do not publish a wholesale price list. The listed price is the price, including when you need several of the same item.

If you are placing a large order, contact us and we will look at that order with you.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. An e-gift card is emailed to the recipient after purchase. It can be used toward the order total, including the delivery charge. There is no physical card.

Buy one here: e-gift card.

How do I check my order status?

We email you a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your order ships. If you have not received it yet, your order is most likely still in production.

You can also look up your order any time from the Order Status link in the site footer. If you ordered through Etsy, your status and tracking are available in your Etsy account.

If something looks wrong with your order, contact us and we will check on it for you.

How do I reorder the same design?

To buy the same artwork again, contact us with the email address you used at checkout, or your order number. We will send a link so you can purchase that artwork again.

Is the watermark on the final stamp?

The watermark in the editor is only on the on-screen preview. It is not part of the artwork, and it is not on the finished stamp.

Should I choose a round or square stamp?

A round image fits a round stamp. A square image fits a square stamp. If you put a square image in a round stamp, it is scaled to sit inside the circle, so it looks smaller and the corners can be cropped.

Pick the shape that matches the artwork.

What can an embosser do?

An embosser presses a raised mark into the paper. It does not use ink, and it is not an ink stamp.

We sell the embosser as a complete tool. We do not sell a plate by itself for a press you already own. If you need a replacement plate for an embosser you bought from us, contact us and we will check what your shop lists.

Simple, bold artwork works better than a detailed photo.

What file types work for custom artwork?

PNG, JPG, PDF, and SVG files all work for custom artwork. A black-on-white image with strong contrast stamps more clearly than a gray photo. Very thin lines can disappear at stamp scale.

Upload the file on the product page. If the page will not take it, contact us. That form takes a message only, not a file. We email you back, and you can reply to that email with the file attached. Tell us the stamp type and the size you want.

What is the difference between a self-inking stamp and a wood mount?

A self-inking stamp has the pad inside the handle. You press it and it inks itself. A wood mount is a block you press onto a separate pad, then onto the paper, so you choose the pad.

Face photos on the site are set up as self-inking stamps. If you want that photo on a wood mount instead, contact us and we can set up a custom order.

What size stamp should I get?

Stamps come in small, medium, and large. A short line or a simple logo usually fits a smaller size. A long name, or more than one line, usually needs a larger size.

The preview shows how the letters sit in the shape you picked. If they look cramped, move up a size. How much text fits depends on the letters and the layout. We do not guarantee an exact measurement.

Why does the design preview look blurry?

The preview on your screen is a small image, so it can look fuzzy or pixelated. The file used to make the stamp is larger than that preview. A fuzzy preview does not by itself mean the finished stamp will look the same. Very fine detail can still be hard to stamp, so a simpler image is the safer choice.

Will I get a proof before you make it?

Not every order gets a separate proof. We review the artwork before production. If a change needs your confirmation, we email you and ask you to reply by the deadline in that email. If we do not hear back by then, we make the revised design we already shared.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return and refund policy?

Because our products are personalized for you, we handle returns case by case. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we will make it right with a remake, replacement, or refund.

Please inspect your order when it arrives and let us know promptly if anything is wrong. Photos of the issue help us resolve it faster.

Product Care

Can I stamp fabric and wash it?

Standard ink is not wash-fast. Laundry can fade it or smear it, and we cannot promise a mark will survive washing.

For clothing or other fabric, a fabric ink and heat-setting (iron from the back) is the usual approach. Results still depend on the cloth and how it is washed.

How do I fix a stamp that is jammed and stuck?

If a self-inking stamp will not press down, the pad may have slid sideways. Look inside the body and push the pad back until both sides sit flush, then try again.

If it stays pressed down, it may be locked. Put scrap paper underneath, then press the outer rim around the base. If it still will not spring back, press the small button or tab on the side while pushing the stamp a little further down. The lock lets go just past the normal pressed position.

If it still will not move, contact us.

How do I re-ink a self-inking stamp?

The pad inside a self-inking stamp can be re-inked. Refill ink is sold on some of our shops. A replacement pad is not listed on every shop.

Contact us and we will send the link for your shop. To re-ink: open the pad area, add refill ink to the pad, let it settle, then test on scrap paper.

How well does ink work on a curved mug?

A stamp works best on flat paper. On a curved mug, or another rounded surface, the mark is often incomplete, with soft edges or missing detail. We cannot promise a full impression there.

A smaller, simpler image does better than a detailed one.

My stamp impression is faint or uneven. What should I do?

A faint impression on a new self-inking stamp usually means the ink needs to settle. Leave the stamp resting face-down on its base for a few hours so the pad re-saturates, then try again on flat paper using firm, even pressure.

Stamp on a hard, flat surface and avoid rocking the stamp. If impressions stay light over time, the pad may need a few drops of matching refill ink.

If it still does not improve, contact us and we will help.
